Twenty Nine Inches has just taken delivery of a demo bike from Cielo , which is the marque Chris King worked under making frames before he got into the component business. Well, one thing led to another, and Chris King ended up doing lots of components, while the frame building side of the business went dormant for a bit. Now it has been revived and we have one of their fine 29″er hand made steel bicycles to check out.
Stay tuned for an Out Of The Box post coming soon with all the details. Until then, you can check out Cielo Cycles site here.
Note: This bicycle was provided at no charge for test/review. We are not being bribed or paid for this review. We will strive to give our honest opinions throughout.
SWEEEEEEET!! – Looking forward to the details and mor pictures.
I second it***
Steel is real . good to see new stuff.
I saw some of these frames at the NAHBS. Very drool-worthy.
Sweet, I don’t understand the Sycip brothers connection?
@Willie: Cielo hired Jay SyCip joined the company upon the re-birthing of the marque in 2008. He is the Product Manager at Cielo and also a Product Manager for King Cycle Group. Jeremy still runs SyCip Bikes and is building custom rigs
