Blackburn Announces Annual “Out There” Program- by Guitar Ted
Blackburn, the cycling accessory company that has traditionally been known for pumps, multi-tools, and touring racks is transitioning to be a more “adventure based” and will be rolling out more on specific products in the coming months. To help kick off this new chapter in the iconic company’s history, Blackburn has assigned six “Rangers”, (essentially brand ambassadors), to tackle some major challenges on bicycles, both paved and on dirt.

Blackburn has selected six Rangers, three for each route, who will share their experiences along these iconic journeys. From the everyday expedition of urban cycling to the not-so-routine fright of a bear sighting, Blackburn Rangers will take readers along for the ride on an interactive Out There website. Launching this summer, the website will profile the travels of Blackburn’s six Rangers with images and videos, blog posts and interactive route-based elements that will appeal to adventure and touring cyclists, those planning a cycling trip along these routes, or internet users looking for inspiration. The www.blackburndesign.com/outthere website landing page debuts today, providing an introduction to the Rangers and these routes.
