More details on the new 2016 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR. After speaking with Sean Estes, marketing whiz for the Big S, Mountain Bike division, this new Stumpy FSR looks to be an all around trail killer, both in 29er and 27.5 (or what Specialized calls 650b)…potatoe, potAAAto, etc.
Here is the new link to all the details at the2016 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR website, but it looks like 2 main model options for NOW…S Works and Expert, but I have to imagine that will widen a bit. The S Works with carbon wheels and a FACT 11 all carbon frame AND carbon wheels is pretty swanky. Pike forks all around, and 135mm rear and 140mm front ends.

Will there be some option to run 27+/650Fat on one of these? That would make sense. They are also taking SWAT to a new level, incorporating the frame innards for storage. Neat! I expect to have JeffJ and I on these this next week, so we will be hitting Facebook with pics and trailside impressions.
