@DK, I have a Lynskey and its as stiff as you would want it. Comes down to engineering in the end.

Agree with GG, its just not a required material when alu will do but that's not what this is about. Moots = Ti, that is their brand and that is what helps overcome the fact that this thing still looks a bit hard to swallow. I'm sure it will ride great but there is a lot of Aesthetic issues to overcome IMO. The moots sticker should dispell that for most buyers who may think its beautifull!

@Saltz the softer TI front triangle can result in a squirmy ride. I had a Motts Cinco and it was such squishy noodle that I sold it real fast again. Aluminum and carbon are better materials for a FS bike as they are stiffer. I love Ti (I ride a Potts 29er), but it's not a good material for a FS, according to my (maybe limited) experience.

@Saltz...well, it is just that Ti is expensive to manipulate/machine and the often vaunted 'magical' ride quality of Ti gets a bit blurred when an FS is buffering all that. However that does not mean it will not work, etc.

@Macca...well, it is a long story, but that bike was headed towards me and then mis-shipped and lost and who knows what. So no YBB. But we remain ever hopeful.

We are nothing if not optimists here at twentynineinches.

You were supposed to test a Moots YBB 29er in the spring, what happened. Please test the YBB.

At the risk of asking a dumb question, why not it for a full suspension bike?
