@TOm: Thanks for the compliment on the pic. The Thudbuster is nice for a hard tail if you are riding a bunch in the saddle. It's pretty invisible, as far as how it affects your riding, or as far as "noticing it is working". The downside is that after a time the pivots can develop play. Cane Creek does provide a kit to rebuild those pivots when needed, by the way.

That last pic with the Fargo in spring green forest is nice, very nice. Are you a fan of the Thudbuster post, GT?

@Yogi: I have asked about those and will be putting up a side bar on that in my next update. Basically, they are rectangular, not triangular, and they feature several cell-like bumps which are designed to pinch down on punctures rather than open up, as a normal tube would.

They are aimed at the commuter/recreational market, so there isn't a "true" 29"er size available. More soon....

Please ask somebody at Michelin during Sea Otter about their new tubes! The triangular ones that are sort of "self sealing". Not all of us have made the move to tubeless and these new Michelin tubes are supposed to be "the bees knees"! The triangular ones that are sort of "self sealing"...
