		<description>My understanding with standard nipples and carbon rims (although I do not have personal experience with this) is that the carbon rim is much harder and more abrasive and tends to cut or erode where the nipple passes thru the rim thus leading to a shorter life. Think a carbon cut off wheel.</description>
