Interesting....actually downright cool. I welcome more competition to the drivetrain realm. Anybody whose making thumbshifters in 2011 is alright with me... and what is this "10 speed " you speak of ? Seriously, 9 speed is pushing it already... :-O.

The gear speed race is getting downright silly. "yeah man, I just got the new 2x19 drivetrain..."

I haven't been in the drive train market for a while, but even when I was specc'ing my 1x9 4+ years ago, the prices were getting stupid for a mid/upper to upper rear D and Sram twisters. Now it's crazy.

An aside...Not just limited to cycling, the outdoor industry is getting too rich for my tastes. Bring on dirt bag cycling culture. I just picked up my second pair of work gloves from the Home Despot for riding. Probably made at the same factory as ones super boss Fox Racing gloves.... $12 clams, not 40.

Bring it on Sunrace, kick some booty!

Have a thankful and Happy Thansgiving everyone ! :-)

SHIFTER UPDATE: Quick response -> SUNRACE has been great to react to my criticizm and sent us a set of their thumb shifters. What is even better for front shifting duties they offer a friction mode thumbie (my favourite :-)) as well as a 3-spd version, for those in need for indexing. The rear is availble in 8-spd or 9-spd - we took the 9-spd of course.

@ Mr Friess: Yes, there are some SRAM twist shifters (mostly in the mid and entey level groups) that will work, as do all 9-spd SHIMANO shifters.
Additionally I have just been informed that SUNRACE has some 9-spd thumb shifters, which we should be getting to continue the testing with :-).

If it's 2:1 is it possible to use the drivetrain parts with some Sram twister shifter?
