Thanks @Guitar Ted! Since it was mentioned they expand a bit after use I was wondering if using 2.4 on a 2.4 max rim would be going to the edge. Because of this, I was planning on using the 2.2 Purg Control but they're out of stock in Specialized.com. I called the Specialized dealer in my area and asked for the 2.2 Purg Control and they said it won't be available until June this year. I don't want to try the S-works 2.2 because I've read too many reviews that the sidewall is not very resistent.

@JD: I see no reason why your ideas wouldn't work.

I have a 26mm wide dt swiss m1800 rim that has 2.4 as the max tire size I should use, would it be daring to go with purgatory control 2.4 up front? Btw, I want tompair it with ground control 2.1 in the back. Sounds good?
Thanks!

I suspected it was the thin walls. My Renegade is an S-works also and doesn't have that problem. Less tread though so maybe they put more rubber in the wall. Guess I will just have to check the air pressure every time I ride, like I should anyways.

@LP: Sounds familiar. It is the "S-Works Casing". Too thin. A "Control Casing" would hold air better.
