@Willie: Hey, here's an answer to your question from Ben's Cycle:

A frame with a high gloss is kind of sticky, but cleans easily with a little water. A matte frame "burnishes" easily, but what's really happening is because of the texture of the finish it's actually picking up dirt or material from whatever it touches. We send a bottle of KG 410 with every Matte frame (https://www.kgcoatings.com/images/uploads/1%20cleaners.jpg
They don't have a listing for it, but it's the far left item in the pic) and if you wipe a matte frame down with it after it burnishes it will be as good as the day you got it in about 30 seconds. Any light weight oil will do the trick.

Satin and low gloss finishes don't tend to pick up dirt and grime too easily, mud will dry on, but it will flake off with a brush of the hand easily, and any kind of cleaner like pink bike wash or Pedro's Bike Lust will clean it beautifully. Water also does the trick.

Any idea on the "stick-ability" of dirt, dust, mud and grim to stick to the three finish types? Should they be all somewhat similar?

Can they coat a chain? Seriously, with the claims of durability and lubricity, this could be freakin awesome. (Though I'll miss that wonderful banana Tri-Flow smell).
