Willow Koerber rode her Fisher to a bronze medal earlier on in the day on what is, by even the elite athletes accounts, a very tight, tough and technical course. Yes, a few of us fat boys had a go of the course as well and after 3 laps of struggle to literally scramble up over rocks and freeride like drops getting up, then having a blast comming back down, I was smashed ! The Euro's might start eating more of the 29er pie soon which will only make it bigger with more choice of toppings for the rest of us! Is the rear hub spaced for a 8-9 Cassette as well?
