Great write up Ted. I was also on that ride with Chad, Llama and CJ a couple years ago, saw this Ballyhoo thing and have to go again. I am not anywhere near the league of rider that those guys are but I had fun and it can be fun for even the most novice of rider, just expect to get winded a lot if you are trying to keep up like I was. ha!

Can't wait and we got a ton of homebrew coming, at least I will be good for that.

It was a great day to ride boys!!! CJ you will be pleasantly surprised at the trails as they are 100% better shape and getting better every day!! GT excellent write up !! Cant wait to ride with everyone again, it was nice to know that all the work Kyle , Paul and I do is appreciated . If we had a couple of more hours we could of hit another 10 mile loop we didnt even touch : )

MG- Thanks alot!! I will probally take you up on that. You are riding Time ATACs, correct?

Yeah, when I rode at Potters with Chad and Llama a couple of years ago I would often try to ride directly behind Chad so that I could use his line selection to my advantage. He was riding his RLMC29er at that time. I

I am really looking forward to this event. Get ready for some good Homebrew!!!

CJ -- I'm not sure if Salsa is going to have "official" test bikes at the Ballyhoo, but if you ride a size large, you're welcome to take mine out for a ride out there. Chad's got a medium and I bet if that's your size, you might be able to beg him for a ride on his... but I don't want to speak for him, so you'll have to talk to him about that one. Sounds like you two are in cahoots though. He's super easy to get along with (and a darn fast downhiller, to boot!). ;-)

Look forward to seeing you out there!

Cheers,
MG

Nice write up.

I have ridden Potters once with a full rigid RL Monocog 29er. It made the trail very interesting :) I know that Chad (pictured with MG) owns a brown RL MC29er as well. I am looking forward to riding at Potters again and trying out some other bikes. Will there be a Big Mamma on hand for test rides??? I sure hope so!!
