@Greg Krieger: These Gato tires were being tested by “c_g” and I have not checked in with him on them recently. If they are anything like the Saguaro compound though, I would guess that they are wearing like iron. I have tried the Barro Race and the Saguaro tires which both have a very long lasting, hard tread.

I have the Geax Gato Tires, just came new with the Jamis Komodo 2010 I bought, in the case you were still looking for them. SO far they are fanstastic, hevent had a chance to really ride them out to many extremes, but if you are looking for a tank of a tire, this is it.
