Cannondale To Introduce A Carbon 29″er For 2010
June 16th, 2009 by Guitar TedTwenty Nine Inches has learned that Cannondale plans on introducing a carbon hardtail 29″er to it’s current line up of aluminum hardtails for 2010. The line, which will be introduced at a sales meeting in Park City, Utah next week, will include two versions of the bike. Dubbed the “Flash”, the hardtail will be offered in a “Flash 1″ version and a presumably lower spec’ed “Flash 2″ option. We also have learned that one of the versions will be white, the other red.
Cannondale apparently will continue to offer its four aluminum models as well, but at this time there is no word on whether the Scalpel 29″er we have heard is roaming the planet as a prototype will be offered as a model for sale to the public. Stay tuned as more information becomes available.

Holy Crap!!! I was thinking about selling my Niner Air9 and picking up a C’Dale. I love my Niner but its kind of flexy. I work PT at a C’Dale shop, I am super stoked I waited a year. Niner Air9 in Tang size XL for sale at the end of this season!
I am going to Utah next week to ride this bike. I will post up my findings.
I am sure they will make a carbon FS just like Superfly went its way from HT to 100mm FS and so will jet9 just wait 10 years
Yay! I cant wait to see the bike. I have been riding a 29er C-Dale for 2 years. A full suspension would be nice but a carbon hardtail works too! Hope I can just get the frame. If not, just going to have to buy the whole frame.
Cannondale, you have a customer awaiting to purchase a Flash.
Wait a week or so, it’s going to be worth it…. And you wont wish for a 29er FS when you see the new bike…
