Yet another awesome review of this frame and fork. I am so glad I have one waiting on me at the house for my return from Iraq. Thank You for an excellent review as your final chapter with Twenty Nine Inches Captain Bob. You have completely reassured me that I made the right choice for my first 29er. GT thank you for highlighting this frame and fork so much on here, as this is where my decision was made from.

Cool beans, Captain! It seems like we are surrounded by DiSSent frames lately. I can’t wait to get mine up and running….you even have me thinking about trying the alu fork!

Thanks for the review. Really has me wondering how that thing rides as you are another person to say how well it compares to steel.

The fork seems to be worth noting – light, supple, and affordable. I long have been looking for a compliant front having come from a On-One Carbon fork (which to me had been the best compromise so far). Not knowing the Origin 8 fork – are they much like the On-One in riding characterisitics?
Sure would like to try one – but here in Europe they can´t be bought and shipping is very expensive. Ally you Misfits – have fun riding.
