Davidcoperfield: UST has a stiffer sidewal, certainly. I would think very low pressures would be attainable, but at the expense of more weight. I believe the best balance of weight, tire pressure, and performance is with TNT.

May the above be said about TNR vs UST? UST will be better at lower pressure than TNT, won't it?

I have jad the chance to ride both 29er by GEAX currently available in folding and TNT and the real advantage with TNT besides easy inflation is the ability to run extremely low pressures (at 85 kg I have ridden the Saguaro down to 1,4 bar) without risking blow offs or fear burping. Has anyone tried the same on a converted folding - not good, very unstable. The Barro Race requires more pressure due to the smaller size but is an extremely capable race tire.

Ps: For those whishing for a larger tire with a more aggressive tread - hang in there, it will not be long, but it will definetely be worth it.

Good to know on the availability, thanks GTed.

While Geax suggests the TnT version as the lightest for tubeless use, the regular folding model Saguaro has been one of the most reliable (and easiest to set up) tires for tubeless use.
