Bongrager Mustang rims and Specialized Armadillo 25c tires; I put 450 lightly-loaded touring miles on this set-up last summer with no problems.

Thanks for this entry. I pick up my Redline D440 tomorrow, my first 29er. While I would eventually like to do some train rides the bike will primarily be a commuter and I think based on all the input here and info I’ve come across elsewhere I’m going to give the Schwalbe Big Apples a shot.
