Over the next few posts I will show what is left in the photo dump from the recently concluded Interbike trade show held at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Hutchinson promises the Toro 29″er will be available soon
Spinergy showed this PBO spoked 29″er wheel that is rarely seen on trail. I’ve worked with these wheels before and they are pretty amazing.
Spot Brand showed this cross bike with a paint job I still find really attractive even after seeing it last year here at Interbike.
The Diamondback Overdrive and Overdrive Pro. Look for another test on the Overdrive and a special promotion coming soon!

Yeah, I really like the ‘panels’ that Spot does too. Really nice, modern twist on a classic theme.
GT Did you happen to ride the new Reba? I was wondering if it was any stiffer with the new design, was it a 20mm TA?
29rcowboy: Great question! I hadn’t given that a thought till your comment popped up. You know……I don’t think that I did. Almost everything was Fox except the Lenz which had a White Brothers on it. Weird, but I don’t think that I did.
How was that white bros fork? I have the 29er 135mm Fluid 20mm thru axle and it rocks. It always feels like it has more travel to go and is very active-very good fork
C-Max: I would concur with your description of the White Brothers fork. Very smooth travel. Not spiky, didn’t ramp up, and no real bobbing problems other than the obvious when I was right over the front end out of the saddle. I might have wished for a lock out then, (and maybe it had one? I don’t know.), but otherwise I can’t really find fault with the Fluid 150 I rode.
Whill that Hutchinson tire be tubeless ready?
I have my Stans Rims ready to go, but I am waiting for a good tubless tire
mjbrox: Yes, the Toro will be Tubeless ready.
Oh happy day!
Are there any other good tubless options.
I love my Captin Controls, but the sidewalls do not seem to be able to handle my 200 lbs when I run them tubless.
mjbrox: Actually, Specialized is supposed to have the Eskar and Captain available in their “2-Bliss” type casing, if not now then soon. Other options include Bontrager’s XR, ACX, XDX, and Mud X tires, Continentals Mountain King, and the Hutchinson Python. Those are the tires “ok’d” for use with sealant tubeless by the manufacturers.
Thanks for the heads up about the Captin,
My LBS is going to order one for me tommorow.
I will let you know how it holds up.

Did you get any photos of the new reba with the maxle lite
jason in NC: No, I don’t believe that I did. I have seen a bike posted on the web that someone purchased recently with one on it. I also know that a few online retailers are advertising them for sale, but I can not verify that they are actually available.
jason in NC: Upon further inspection, I offer you this: http://twentynineinches.com/2008/09/25/interbike-2008-day-two-part-two/
