When I tested the Spot at Sea otter, I failed the belt on an uphill sprint. Still have the scars to prove it. Maybe an 18# single speed with a stretchy belt should carry a rider limit. I have ridden it before, last year at the show as a matter of fact. They still are refining the technology, but look for belt drive bikes to stick this time around.
