I was able to snap some photos tonight of the new wheelset. The wheels look stout with their 3 cross double butted Wheelsmith spokes. The rims were taped up and you might even be able to pull tubeless off with this setup. (I haven’t heard if they are recommended yet or not.) I will be mounting up the Neo Moto’s to these tires in the next day and taking them for a ride later this week. Once I get a solid 3-4 rides on them I will be giving a better write up on the wheels and their riding characteristics.

Very quickly I wanted to send a large THANK YOU to Tim at Lug of the Irish! Tim was one of the first guys I know to get these wheels in and happened to have a customer waiting on a bike build that wasn’t using their wheels. I asked to borrow them for a review and he kindly said yes. So thank you to Tim and his very giving customer. Hopefully the review and photos will help others. (Look for a write up of Tim and his 650b full suspension build in the coming weeks.)
