Siren Song SS 29

Spy shot by Matthew Reed

Twenty Nine Inches recieved this “spy shot” of the 29 inch wheeled Siren Song’s debut at the 24 Hours of Old Pueblo this past weekend. The Song, seen here in single speed mode, was concieved as a softail design using a titanium flex plate and a Cane Creek damper to achieve approximately 2″ of rear wheel travel. Apparently, this particular bike was available for test rides there, so if you have ridden it, please feel free to add your comments.

Twenty Nine Inches will continue to follow up on this new 29″er soft tail platform. Stay tuned!

I’m a 5′ 8″ , buck fifty singlespeeder. I can see this thing flexing already. What the world needs now are more titanium 29er hardtail singlespeeds. I just don’t think that this would be stiff enough to race on. Could make a good trail bike…

Bicyclesoup: Preliminary indications are that it rides quite the opposite. ;)

I saw it down there this weekend and did the customary “push on the saddle to feel the suspension” maneuver and it felt pretty firm. All of their other bikes are good looking as well.
