It has been confirmed that Sun will be making a 650b rim! The rim will be their Equalizer 27. The 27 is the width of the rim and will be a XC/All mountain rim.

From my email inbox this morning :

We’ve decided to go ahead with a production run of the 650B Equalizer 27. They should arrive sometime in April, and will be kept in inventory at our Milwaukee facility. Once they’re here, they’ll be available for purchase through your local shop.

I look forward to these rims. The weight is not known at this time but looking at the width/wall height it looks like a pretty decent rim!
