Charlie C did that cage because he didn't like the taste of the plastic water bottles of the era and liked being able to carry more water on his rides. I didn't know about that cage. :) I happen to have a Blackburn Bomber Cage, (at least thats what we called 'em back in the day) trouble is, I hardly ever see the two liter bottles in stores to fit it anymore. I wasn't aware that WTB did that design either, which makes it all the more special to me. (Ya gotta be a "retro-grouch" to understand, I think. ;) ) The "plan" is to get the Bomber Cage to work and go with the water bottle off the seat post. I am running mech disc brakes/Nokon housings. However; the complete version of the Blackbuck comes with Avid Juicy hydro brakes, so it is compatible with either type of brake system.
