Cooking up the perfect bikes in the Bike Lab

October 25th, 2007 by Tim Grahl

As many of you know, Twenty Nine Inches is part of the Crooked Cog Network of sites. Apart from this one we run BlueCollarMTB.com, CommuteByBike.com, CrookedCogPodcast.com and GetABikeJob.com.

But now it’s growing by one more.

We’ve felt for awhile that we weren’t talking about a very important aspect of what many of you are doing with your bikes, regardless of wheelsize. And that’s building the perfect bikes for your style and riding conditions.

So we’ve just launched our newest site, The Bike Lab, which will include product reviews, insider news and opinion pieces covering all the facets of new technology, high end components and handmade bicycles that are available for the mountain bike enthusiast.

The Bike Lab.

The content will be headed up by none other than Guitar Ted and Arleigh Jenkins… with me throwing my thoughts down from time to time as well.

Head over to the site and have a look.

Is there a “what’s Your perfect bike?” section?

so readers can post details on what their perfect bike is/would be.

Speaking of the Crooked Cog Podcast, what happened? I really enjoyed the interviews.

Desert9r - See this is why I tell people our readers are a helluva lot smarter than I am. That’s a fantastic idea and it’s on the list to get done.

Justin - All kinds of things played into the podcast shutting down for awhile but I’m glad to say it’s starting up again soon. I did another interview two days ago and will be putting the show together soon. Thanks for listening!
