Man this thing rides great perfect for going up hills and Where I live they cost 400 bucks flat but I get a discount so now its like 350 Im stoked off this bike and cant wait to get one for my birthday . =D

GT is right, in the yr that I have known about the Stout, searching the internet, I saw 1 used for sale, for $400.

Ill take a 17″, which I will buy on ebay for $250 +/- 3 months into 2008 after some yahoo gets bored or yelled at for having too many bikes in the house/garage/bedroom

Cloxxki: I will keep that in mind but I want to keep my Maxxis Ignitors for a while. I haven’t had them in sand yet but on dirt they are great. Thanks for the info.

bergjm : try a Bontrager XR front tire for the sand. Be amazed. Soon I hope to report how the new Schwalbe Racing Ralphs behave themselves in whatever our weather throws at them.
