Haro Suffers Loss of Bikes

October 1st, 2007 by Guitar Ted

Hey guys and gals, this isn’t a post I like to make, but if someone reads this and can help, it would be appreciated.

Haro lost several mountain bikes used at the Outdoor Demo when someone burgularized their trailer and rental truck over the weekend where they were parked at their Vista, CA. offices.

If you or anyone you know has any information please pass it on to us here using our e-mail or directly to Haro. Please read the original thread posted at MTBR.com here.

Isnt this the second time Haro had some bikes jakked at interbike or right after?

Matty: Could be. Seems someone gets bit every year. At least no major burlaries were reported at the show itself, as far as I am aware.

Salsa lost a bunch of Demo bikes last year when a truck containing their rigs was stolen outside of the show convention hall. They did recover all the rigs several months later. Let’s hope Haro’s story ends as well.

On the BMX side: Fly Bikes got a prototype of their new left hand drive rear hub stolen right out of the case.

I’m amazed why anyone would steal in the first place, but especially prototype stuff. It’s just bad for the industry. Scumbags!

That aint cool man. If I see a 650B riding around they are getting Jumped.
