I bought the 17" and i am 5'10" and it is a good fit. I have done a lot of upgrading, the best eing a fox f29 fork. I have shaved 6 pounds off the bike and absolutly love it now. The frame is a great value and a good riide, go Fuji.

I'm interested in a Fuji Tahoe 29 either Pro. I have not been able to ride one although my LBS does carry Fuji, they dont stock this bike. I test rode a Specialized 2009 Rockhopper and really thought it was a good ride. But the component value on the Fuji seems so much better. It appears that the frame may not sit as low and the standover of even the small seems a bit high 30.9" (I am 5'10"). That's my main concern.
So do I chance going with the Fuji Tahoe or with the Rcokhopper which I have tried. (both seem about the same $$)?

ok, last thing. Bikewharehouse has a Windsor that's spec'd the same as the Fuji Tahoe Pro, called the Windsor Cliff 29 Pro (for a few hundred $'s less).

I just bought the Fuji tahoe 29 pro and really like it. I got it at performance bike shop for $899 on sale, well speced and fun to ride, a great value if you asked me.

I work at a Fuji shop and I would tend to say that Fuji's do get discounted a bit more than others. Best discount though? Employee pricing...... %15 off wholesale plus $1. Guess who's getting a Fuji 29er.

Nice to have another brand out there anwering to deamnd, and increasing demand.

MSRP's seem a bit high for the spec? I THINK specialized even offers more bike for $900? Or do Fuji's usually get discounted more than other brands?

Is the crookedcog podcast site still active? It hasn't had any new posts for a few months now so I was wondering if that site is now dead. Always liked listening.

martini: "Entering" is the key word, I think. We're not quite there yet, but we're coming through that door, yes. :)

Tim: Now I don't feel so bad about my posted pics! (Hey! I'm a poorly paid shop rat, what can I say?)

Not bad looking. Heavy, but attractive.

I think we're entering the era when a mountain bike is simply a bike with knobbies. Not a 29er. Not a 26er. Not a 27'5er. Maybe?
