How do you like the Monocog? I’m riding a Cobia right now and I love it but I’ve been thinking about picking one of these up for a second bike. For the price you really can’t beat it - or so it seems. Is Redline going to drop the price further on last year’s models since the new paint jobs are coming out for this year’s Monocogs?
I’ve been riding a brown monocog 29er, stock, for the last three months. I have to admit, the simplicity and the lack of thinking required to ride the thing is refreshing. I ride it on flatter trails around Boise (not too many) and commute every day on it. It’s fun and I look forward to lightening it up a little bit and doing some unique things. It’s a perfect change of pace from the geared hardtail I ride.
