That’s a pretty tight looking design…
Pivot on the chain stay? Did the pony up the big bucks for a Horst Link?
This looks a bit like the VooDoo Canzo, which if memory serves was developed in Flag. . . Hmmm. . .
Link to the Flagstaff’s specifications on the KHS Canada website.

The list price is $2299 (Canadian).
Looks good. If it’s anywhere near as good as the Tucson then it will be a very good bike.
One of the nice things about KHS bikes are that they are available through any bike store. My LBS gave me a great deal on a Tuscon and would probably do the same on a Flagstaff.
The Hayes/Sun/Wheelsmith connection shows up here. Funny they couldn’t swing a Manitou on the front too. Then Hayes Bicycle Group would have it all sewn up!
Anyway, this is an intriguing bike. I will be curious as to the length of the chainstays and other geometry specs. Sort of looks like an Intense if I squint hard enough.
Looks a bit pricey considering the spec – Tora, X7 (for KHS that is).
KHS uses the Horst link on their 26″ wheeled bikes. Looks like they’re using it here, too.
Actually,
The spec on the KHS Canada website is incorrect. The correct spec will be available soon.

It is pictured with a Reba and it looks similarly spec’d to a Gary Fisher Caliber which will run you just a little under $2000. If the price is right on the KHS Canada site the bike will cost about $2080.00 USD. Considering it’s a 4 Bar instead of the single pivot I’d say it’s worth the extra $100.00.
I have one on order (March Release) from the LBS for $1650.00
Wade, whats your LBS? I’d pony up 1650 for one of these badboys in a new york second!

It’s the end of March. LBS says “A couple more weeks” This waitin’ is driving me nuts.

The end of April is near. Still no bike. There are many 4 letter explitives that describe this condition.
What is the weight on these bikes. I’m considering one but at that price point they must be in the 30+ lb range. It looks like a strong design. In Canada these bigs have JUST arrived across the border. Understand many production delays this season. Anyone actually riding one yet?
What’s the HT angle. Could you run a longer travel fork in the future?
It’s May, hoorah (tiny exclamation point)
LBS says this week (4/05/2008)
Let’s wait and see (my MTB.comm review)
