Here’s the dropout. Notice that the disc caliper moves with the wheel, so that you don’t have to adjust your disc brake each time you adjust wheel tension.

Upgraded GF Ferrous

My first 29′er:
Uppgraded the Ferrous with a full ‘07 XTR group, the new Bontrager RXL 29 wheels, and RXL and RxXxL (seatpost is wrong in pic) trim = the best HT ever!

Specialized Plans Confirmed On 29″ers

It is being reported in the latest Bicycle Retailer and Industry News that Specialized will indeed have three hardtail models with 29 inch wheels available in June. These models include the already seen Stumpjumper, and two Rockhopper models starting out at $650.00
