In confirmation of a rumor heard earlier in the year, Nokian has posted on it’s webpage for their Extreme 294 26″er tire that a 29″er version is upcoming in September. Just in time for your winter preparations!

I know it’s hard to think about ice and snow right now, but this is great news for those of us that use our 29″ers all year long and especially for those like me that commute on a 29″er.

Nokian tires are held in high regard for winter use and are also plenty spendy! Time to start your winter tire fund!
