New On-One Inbred 29er
April 4th, 2007 by Tim GrahlHere’s a pre-production picture of the 2007 On-One Inbred 29er. They should be in stock in about 4-5 weeks. Standard upgrades will include Avid Juicy 3 disc brakes, our “Mary” bar and our new Carbon rigid fork. Also, the lady bug horn on the handlebar is an upgrade. The price will probably be around $1250 to $1300.

Tyres are Nevegals, and the rear hub is a 9spd cassette unit, with a singlespeed converter kit giving easy swap to gears if that’s your thing.Brand new 2008 slot dropout frame, with disc brake mounted inside the rear triangle. DN6 chromoly double butted tubing. Frame has full gear routing and mech hanger (removable with hacksaw for SS nazis)
on-one Superlight Carbon fork

I’m excited about the new upgrades, but to be honest, I’m a bit worried about the rear caliper location. Indy Fab, Spooky and others had chainstay snappage with the same design. I’m guessing Brant and the boys anticipated the stresses there and beefed the hell out of the area (Frank the Welder has been known to still accept older spooky’s in for beefing…).
I love love love that fork!

My wife has that same bell on her bike but the clamp is so small that it has to be zip tied on. I like the way the wings operate so that you can see the actual bell in side, magic. I like my chile pepper one best of all though. But you almost need an air horn anymore to get people on the trails attention that are wearing iPoD’s.
PS: Those dropouts are the ugliest thing I have ever seen on a bike. But it looks like they’ll hold the wheel securely which is all that counts.
