There's IMO a good chance that Specialized's entry to the sport is UNrelated to Fox doing so. At Eurobike, a Trek employee (well Mr. Gary Fisher) told me "they" had asked Fox to make a fork, with 29"-specific offset. If Trek (Fisher) were involveed in "hot" forks the past few years, they had a one-year exclusive on it, as they were the only ones willing to lay down the cash, well in advance, for a full production series.

Any idea if it is float or vanilla based? That is excellent news and cannot wait for it to be released aftermarket. I will be waiting at the front of the line.
