Recently though, the company has experienced hiccups in different areas that have allowed Rock Shox, Fox, and Marzocchi to pass them by in certain areas. Now with the acquisition of Manitou by the HB Group, it is hoped that they will iron out the wrinkles and return to the highest levels in service, performance, and timely delivery of products. The shocks themselves are great, just not everyone's cup of tea. I think that if they can produce a stiff, flex free platform with a plush, progressive feeling stroke for 29"ers you'll see lots of folks sporting these, and hopefully soon. oliver: I haven’t checked, but I think it’s something like 43mm.
