oooooo. do we have a price estimate for the blue beauty? is it the sanko tubeset or std redline cromo?
note to Redline: and maybe a bashguard on the outside, keeper on the inside, or some such.
Looks like a personal ride more than a real pre-production model. 853 didn’t work out for the Flight project, look at the top tube, it’s an 853 sample frame if I’m not mistaken.
I’m sure Redline will make it work. Such a bike would be lovely. Who needa a front derailer if most people are find with just Singlespeed? My race bike is a 1×9, my Flight may also become one.

Well the bike looks cool enough (well minus those skinnnny tires) but are you sure this a Mono9? It clearly says Monocog on the top tube and looks to be more of a prototype frameset then anything else. I didn’t think they were going to use 853 on the final Mono9. I agree that you will need a bashguard on a bike like this but this picture looks more like a Redline employee’s bike then anything else. And if this is a replica of the final, would they use the same color as the Karate Monkey? And an X.0 rear derailleur? And disc only? So many questions from me.
Interresting will be price and availability …
