Zion 737 29ers are in!
October 17th, 2006 by Tim GrahlWe announced it a couple months back and now they are here! The Zion 737 29er frames are in and they’ve licensed the TwentyNineInches.com name and color on a limited number. You can get them in Black, White or TwentyNineInches.com green.
The price for a frame is just $249 and you can get the Zion 737EBB with eccentric bottom bracket and Zion 737 without.
Here’s the only pictures currently out… these were taken right after they were unloaded from the truck a few minutes ago… click them to make them grow…

Anyone checked for Rampage clearance yet?
i like what i’m seeing in the zion. how about the weight on the medium frame.
b-rad: Where the hell did that come from?
bobway and brad: I’ve got an email in now to the Zion guys with those questions…
Tim: That poor pic is also posted on mtbr.com this morning in the 29″er forum. Probably somebody got one and quick built it up yesterday would be my guess.
Why no green fork?
The whole green frame thing is still testing the market. They’ve never licensed a name/color like this before so we are sticking with just the frame for now. When they sell good we’ll probably put an order in for some green forks to.
How can they make a frame for that cheep?

Brad: the weight of the 737 Medium frame with EBB (bolts and everything) is 5.2lbs. And I believe the EBB adds 4/10s of a pound, so the 737 non-EBB should come in at 4.8lbs.
Bobway: not sure yet on the Rampage clearance. there are none yet to test but according to shiggy’s measurements at http://www.mtbtires.com they should barely fit, but don’t quote me on that. there’s no way to tell for sure at this point.
Nice ! But somebody know why the Zion web site:
http://www.zionbicycles.com is dead ? Long time
Where is made the frame ? Taiwan ?
as somebody else wrote it would be more nice to have other info and
maybe more pics about it.

Does this frame require a 410mm seatpin?
Any answer on whether a Rampage will fit?
I am building one of these as a surprise for my daughter and would love to use a Rampage setup if it will fit!!
I got one medium size.
To say the truth I’m little bit UNsatisfy but for that money where you can’t get more ? What I don’t like is that head tube with Rock shox Reba is 69 degree !!!!! (I have a special tool for measure)
and not 72 as described. Chainstay are 445 mm, so more long that what I wanted and supposed looking at the one photo of a white frame with rear tire very close to seat tube, maybe an old version.
But there’s enough space for a big tyre. With Maxxis Ignitor 2.1 there are 6 mm more of space both side of stays.
Will a Rock Shox Reba fit with enough clearance on the top caps whilst turning?
