It will be a costly endeavour to try and own even just one of each 29" tires on offer.

Maxxis is also rumored to finally offer the High Roller in 29". Proto's have been there for years, they have been mentionned as OEM equipment on bikes that never really happen (at least large scale).

I'm especially interesting in whether the Bontrager, Specialized and Hutchinson rumors hold true. The Geax, WTB Weirwolf 2.55 LT, Panaracer Rampage 2.3 and Kenda Nevegal 2.2 all are in actual existence and have been on show.

We must be heading for 30 tires now, if we include only those 2.0+, and also count front and rear specifics. And the good news : all tires so far seem to perform better in 29" than in 26". What's so-so in 26", can be a sensation in 29".

Ahh! Excellent news. That is a tire I will especially be looking forward to. I hope that it's got that voluminous casing that Hutchison's are known for.

Thanks for that info!
