Here in Europe, we use 29″ bikes for agressive xc-racing and marathons. Bike has a triple-butted aluminium frame, and chromoly frontfork. Tyres; Schwalbe Racing Ralph evo 700×35c. Great tyres, loads of grip. Bike weighs 10.4 kg.

    Thanks for posting this. I don’t understand the fascination with putting wider tires on bigger wheels..? I would love to see more 35-45c tire options with xc-type casings. Wide 29er tires made my friends slower. Your bike looks fast, and I bet it loves winter conditions. Good job.
