Wasn't there rumblings of a Pace 29"er sus fork on the horizon? I seem to be remembering reading about that.

Also, once Cannondale gets it's 29"er to market you "theoretically" could get a proper 29"er fork from them, although several conversions exist already.

It's my sincere hope that Manitou will make the Fisher Gen 2 fork avaialable in a 29"er format too.

I vote for the WB Magic...I have them, and since they broke in I love them - a little sticky right out of the box, but that's to be expected...

The Rockshox Tora is like the budget version of the Reba, and it getting great reviews now being spec'd on the 2006 Fisher Cobia. Should become available aftermarket soon.

From what I hear next year will not produce any new forks from suspension companies beside the Marzocchi, Rock Shock Reba, Maverick, and White Brothers that are currently on the market.

Honestly, there isn't a better fork out there other than maybe the White Magic forks and those are already available in 29er models. Neither Manitou or Fox really make that great of a fork. Marzhochi(Sp?) has lost their lead a few years ago.
