Ventana’s take on an XC full-suspension in the adult wheel size. Their 4th 29″ model in just about a year. Ventana now has 2 full-suspensions and 2 hardtails.

The El Patron offers 3.1″ of racey rear wheel travel, and weighs 5.8lbs as shown for the 20″ frame+damper. The standard Ball Burnished finish should be in the low 5lbs range.

Knowning Ventana, it can’t be long before every can have their own copy, in their preferred color.
Competition for the El Patron in the short-travel segment should be the likes of the Lenz Leviathan, and Speedgoat Asylum, and the announced Fisher RaceDay platform as well as the Intense Spider.
