Gary Fisher 2007

The Gary Fisher Race Day ( here’s the early pictures we got awhile back ) is in the final stages of production. In a week or two they’ll start doing some small runs of 10 or 15 to make sure the production process is tight, then they’ll start cranking them out. The oldest orders will be filled first and then Fisher will hopefully get caught up quickly. If you haven’t put one on order yet, the bikes will be readily available in late July or early August.

While there’s been a huge jump lately of manufacturers joining the 29er club, Gary Fisher has still got the widest selection. Geared, single speed, hardtail, softail, etc etc.

In 2007 they’ll have seven models on the market:

  1. Cobia
  2. X-Caliber
  3. Paragon
  4. Rig
  5. Race Day Caliber
  6. Race Day Super Caliber
  7. and ???

Yep, that’s right, Fisher is planning on adding another model of 29er to the 2007 season. That’s all my source would tell me though… I’ve got no specifics as of yet, but I’ll see what I can pester out of them here in the near future.

    Who is expecting one of the SuperCals? I’m just wondering how many people bought them cause they sounded awsome. (I am, by the way, one of those people).

    I had heard rumors that it may be a steel hardtail geared bike. Very possible, as that’s a popular segment in the market now.

    I’ve got a Supercal 29′er on order….. hope it’ll arrive by end of June…… I need a FS to give my body an occasional break from my SS………

    This years’ models are the Procal and Supercal- are they retitled for next year, or will there be 3 levels? (cal, super, pro)

    Or maybe a 29″ version of the supposedly-exists Fisher Ferrous?

    I Know of a steel hard tail that gary fisher is making and I hear that there is suppaed to be a AC/DC 29er

    The 2007 Paragon will be red and I heard that it will have a new tire to reslove clearance issues that the 2006 Yellow version had. I have a 2007 on order and it is shipping this week!

    The 7th model is the Caliber, an entry level 29er FS bike.
    Should be in around July
