Gee Jeffrey, I think you're a really swell guy yourself!

Really, I just got a tip that the pic was out in the open on an MTBR forum.

There's still a rumor floating around of a lady racer having been spotted testing a Cannondale FS 29"er. Perhaps the team guy make shed some light into that? Also, there may be other hardtails that just this one. Prototypes for a brand new to 29"ers typically don't come alone. Even my proto Cube frame has an identical sybling in a German basement somewhere...

Love C-dale's! I know what my next bike will be if it makes it into production. Unless they have a Rush 29er up their sleeve.

bergie: Yes, It's the one he will be riding in GDR.

Tim: Check out what Mike Curiak has to say about the Lefty on a 29"er Leviathan on the mtbr.com 29"er forum. The thread was a sticky on top of the forum last I looked. In short, yes, they are awesome! Jeff K and Carlos at the shop I work at are both on C'Dale Rush's with the Lefty Carbons and they rave about them.

Lefty forks are amazingly rigid (kind of like the Headshoks) contrary to the appearance. The only downside is all the proprietary parst. I know a couple who both ride Lefty's (on a SS and a gearie racer) and they have let me putt-putt about on them. I was skeptical at first but quickly became a believer. I just loathe alumnium frames though...

Yeah I'm with ya on the paint job but it's always cool to see another major player jumping into the 29er fray.

And I've never ridden a lefty fork... are they any good?

Damn that's an ugly paint job! I always thought the Lefty would make a wicked 29er fork. Wonder if they took a standard Lefty and built the frame around it or redesigned the 26" version?
