First of all, I fixed the link so it works. Please forgive me for any inconveniences.

Juansevo: I agree that the top tube brace is asthetically displeasing to the eye, but it is functional. I guess I'd rather have the frame retain it's integrity than to have the seat tube/ top tube junction fail. The design gives you better standover, which is important on 29"ers. We are not used to seeing this sort of arrangement, having been ingrained with images of 26" inch hardtail designs for 25 years or so. If the 29"er had come first, we'd probably be bemoaning the looks of those "new" 26"ers on Twenty six inches.com !

I wish they didn't do that funky top tube/seatube tube with the high chainstays. Makes sense for the Dos Niner, but it's pretty fugly.

Yup! Linky doesn't work, although the address is correct. Hmm....dang computers! Anyway, the ad on the right sidebar will take you there.

These are indeed available through QBP. Well, when they come out they will be available.....you know what I mean!

If your shop has a QBP catalog, they can get anything Salsa has in stock, assuming that they are in good stead with QBP. QBP likes to stay in the "backround" and let the house brands "front" themselves. They are in essence their own companies within a company.

What is tramadol and what does it have to do with biking? btw Ted the link in the post doesn't work. Do you guys know, will these be avaiable through QBP? I thought that QBP owned Salsa but haven't seen anything about them. Maybe because our shop is not an 'authorized' Salsa dealer.
