So GT Bicycles is coming out with a 29 inch rigid singlespeed. The Peace 29er.

On-One Carbon fork sample pics

As you may have read, On-One is getting ready to make us the fork Bontrager promised us : reasonably priced, 29″, carbon.
We previously posted CAD images, and here’s the first sample pictures. Check out that crown!
Pics were taken in Taiwan at the factory, so no weight info yet.

Open letter to the manufacturers : Give us Gears

To my favorite mainstream bike manufacturer :
It’s great to see you TOO are exploring the riding traits and sales opportunities of the 29″ wheel! However, an incorrect memo seems to have been passed around that there’s but 2 ways to sell a 29″ bike :
1- Singlespeed Hardtail, preferably rigid, always steel
2- Full-Suspension, 27spd
