Some exclusive pictures of the new Gary Fisher Race Day 29er. It’s the near final prototype with shaped tubes and they are currently testing all sizes. Everything is “on track”.
The Omaha MTB blog has some pics of one of these set up as a single speed. Same orange paint. Plus a bunch of frame front sections are shown laying on the floor. Interesting.
Near final prototype? Isn’t this bike one month away from delivery? Looks pretty good though. Rear tire looks really close to the seat tube. Is there enough room for 3″ of travel? Interesting to compare these pics to the photo-mockup of the Supercaliber-29 on their web site. Thank you for the pics!
I hope they have a solid color option instead of the graphics of the one on the website. I like the solid color with the simple gary fisher decal. Nice and understated.
That looks so much better than the photos on the website. I like the lines on this a lot better. I agree with the color statements, I like this much better. It’s a hot frame, it deseves a good coat of paint.
Drool! I want one in that color. I agree with the others commenting here on the dark, ugly colors on the website pic. What is up with the gloom and doom paint schemes coming out of fisher these days? I would really like a color scheme option that is like the original 2002 Supercal29.
This bike does look hot. Most of the other fishers are two color except the paragon and x-caliber. Speaking of which, it’s funny how fisher can’t produce the hardtails but they’re hyping us on a new full suspension bike and we’re believing it will exist. I hope it does, but i’m very sceptical about their ability to supply.
Fast, lean and muscular, that works for me! Heck, it even resembles me
Looks lovely, I hope my jersey sponsor will think of me…
I can’t say that I like the honey drippers on the end of the swingarm, but everything else is very desireable.
Just put a “hot box” on it and it looks like a Cannondale Rush.

Please give us a solid color option. This looks much better than the color scheme on fisher’s website.
