Sorry for 3rd consecutive posting.

I read :

>features on the production run will make the tires
>easier to inflate and seal

And, in other item :

>UST Tubeless

I wonder, would they rubber-coat the beads to make them extra well sealing? Much like UST tires already are?

I got an email back from NoTubes. The tires'prototype are totally to satisfaction but, and I quote, "there are production delays that are outside our control".
So, we wait... It wouldn't be Kenda trying to first sell a bunch of Karma's to us, now would it? :-)

I had missed the fact that the tire has been re-named to The Crow.

Astonishingly, NoTubes receive more requests for 28-hole 29" rims than for 36-hole, while I know at least half a dozen riders that want 36h and none that consider 28h.
Are 28h hubs on sale, or are people that keen on dropping 20g off a big wheeled bike, even at the cost of performance?

I'm delighted a purposedly designed race tire is about to hit this scene. All other 29" tires have been all-grip, no-rolling. In reality, races are more about efficient rolling that making up time in corners, which is probably why the Pro's are on 330g Maxxis Flyweights and such tires. This tire looks like THE answer to the latter, tubeless-specific with the for 26" proven latex system, super fast casing, no knobs to lose speed on, great!
With my 29"er I've gotten use to overkill grip. seldom do I find a need to brake after a straight into a corner, the grip is simply there. But I was sloooow on the straight, fighting the knobs.
And as said, 29" will coner better than 26" anyway. Perhaps the 26" Vel-Crow fails to impress with lacking grip/traction, while the 29" holds up fine.

I'm looking at AT LEAST my 2006 rear tire here. Hoping to score a Kenda Karma for the front. Similar design, slight bit more tread depth.
