the 292 and 293 are still in production. These bikes are similar to the 26″ wheeled sugars. The new bikes are single pivot bikes and will be available in both 26″ and 29″ versions.

So a few years ago, Fisher came out with the 292 (29″ full suspension). It was taken out of production for one reason or another…

Does anyone have an idea of how this bike is different?

Newest update by FisherGuy indicates that what we have here on display is actually the 26″ CAD mock-up. As soon as we can get an image of the 29″er, we’ll post it up!

Of course its going to have a bottle cage on the downtube! The perspective of the photo obviously hides it. Also 29er full-suspension is going to be way faster than 29er hard-tail in the same that 26″ full-suspension is faster than 26″ hard-tail.

Can’t wait for this bike to come out. I am so buying one.

This is supposed to be a race rig, so I’d be pretty surprised if it showed up in reality without at least one bottle mount on the downtube. Probably one underneath, as well, but I do not like those placements as they are unuseable while riding.

eh don’t find it too exciting as I see no place for a bottle or two. Not all of us ride with purses on our backs. Only thing I see interesting/promising is GF continue pursuit of a wider variety of 29er offerings. I personally don’t see much of a need for FS on a 29er I think it’d ruin the ride. That said my 26″ rig is FS and no way would I go hardtail again!
