Redline Monocog 29 date?

Between my LBS telling me they can now order them from Redline and the rumor I’ve been hearing that the Monocog 29er is supposed to be here by the end of January, I had high hopes for these being available pretty soon.

However, I called my contact at Redline and he’s still saying early to mid March is the due date.

Anybody else hearing anything different?

    It has been March since the very first time I was given the scoop. Bikes from Taiwan only get late, never early. Boats don’t make up 2 months on the ocean.

    See I heard the earlier date from a pretty strong place that’s why it got my hopes up so much. Ah well.

    The Redline 29ers are still due around the middle of March but I won’t know for sure until the boat sails. It takes 3-4 weeks after sailing to get through customs and into the Seattle warehouse. Some bikes will then be shipped to satellite warehouses in Columbus-OH, LA and Dallas-TX for distribution around those areas.

    Warning - The Chinese New Year holiday tends to delay shipments around this time.

    My inside rep at SBS who distributes Redline Said they’re taking names on the waiting list for the Monocog 29er. They are due to arrive soon. I’ll let you know if I hear more.

    my monocog rides like a dream!
    i am now a total convert to 29. i have had it out only 3 times so far and am in love.

    Finally, my 29er showed up yesterday… rode it yesterday, great time…32/20 is kind of a push on the hills but it rolls out over almost anything. It is a way cool bike.
