I believe sometime shortly after the start of the 2004 season they changed the colors again. So I'm guessing this is an early 2004 model year frame. First, this is a modified bike, definitely NOT stock. For starters, we've got a Reba, ( available for the first time in '05) with Race Face Next LP cranks which haven't been available as OEM for at least three years. Notice the canti studs. That puts the frame set back at least a couple years. My guess is that if your friend has one "exactly like that", then someone REALLY admired his component choices! (just kidding!)
